On the coast the jungle came right down to the sea so we could dinghy ashore and enter wondrous Indian trails that had been used for thousands of years. These Amerindians migrated from Mongolia to as far as Cape Horn. |

From Sapzurro (a tiny town with many delightful inhabitants that even had an ice-cream shop...bliss!) we climbed through jungle to the Colombian border, showed our passports, and entered Panama for the day. |
