This large 6 ft wingspan frigate bird was rescued from the sea by an Indian. They bought it to us because of our interest in birds We unwrapped the fishing line from it and gave it brandy then I took the bedraggled bird ashore. After 60 minutes on one flap of its wings it rose 10 ft and was soon way above. It circled for 10 minutes (we said it was thanking us) then flew off. |
